Established in 1997, the Regional Medical Center’s Home Care program serves Orangeburg, Calhoun and Bamberg counties and offers a wide range of in-home services to individuals and their families. Being at home helps you feel better about yourself and gives you and your family a more direct role in your care. Our Home Care team understands how important this is in your recovery process. RMC Home Care provides free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us, such as qualified sign language interpreters and written information in other formats. Case management nurses work directly with you to coordinate benefits and provide appropriate, cost-effective care to meet your needs. Our staff will assess your condition to tailor services to meet your needs. We work very closely with you, your provider, and your family or caregivers to provide the care you deserve and expect. Respite care gives rest and short term relief for family members who are providing direct care of their loved ones.
